DUEDIECI-DUEVENTI

In both the available versions - having different dimensions - the optics has been carefully studied to exploit the lighting potential of high power LEDs in the most efficient way, achieving a wide range of light beams.

The fitting is also suitable for metal halide light sources from 20W up to 35W (DUEDIECI) and from 35W up to 150W (DUEVENTI), while the adjustable focus of the lamp guarantees flexible and highly professional lighting solutions.

The floodlight is also fully adjustable on the axis of the fitting and on the axis of the optic group; in both cases, a goniometric scale is provided for a precise aiming of the beam.  This feature, joint to the availability of various fixing devices (with components base, wall bracket, bar and spike), makes of DUEDIECI-DUEVENTI series a professional solution at 360° for architectural lighting.

Technical features:

- Die-cast aluminium body and frame.
- Die-cast aluminium support plate.
- Polyester powder paint resistant to corrosion, atmospheric conditions and salt spray fog.
- Anode polished and oxidated 99,98 aluminium reflector.
- Thermal-shock resistant tempered glass diffuser.
- Wiring on removable zinc-plated steel plate.
- Silicon rubber gaskets.
- Angle scale to aim light.
- Tin grommet cable gland for one cable entry.
- Stainless steel external screws.
- It complies with the EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-5 Standards.

The body of the fitting is entirely realized in die-cast aluminium, and the optic part is always separated from the components housing, in order to assure a longer life and a higher efficiency to all the electrical components. Finally, the unmistakable design of DUEDIECI-DUEVENTI plays on the union of geometrical shapes like cone, cylinder and parallelepiped, combining with naturalness technical excellence and aesthetical requirements. The series of architectural floodlights DUEDIECI & DUEVENTI is designed to guarantee highly professional technical lighting performances.

It is characterized by:

- high luminous efficiency,

- excellent beam control,

- flexible application,

- accurate styling.

The variety of optics, the availability of several light sources (among which single-colour and colour-changing LED) and beam dimming together with the broad selection of accessories make it the ideal solution for a wide range of architectural applications from scenic lighting of walls and façades to accent illumination of shop-windows and gardens.

The series DUEDIECI & DUEVENTI is designed with optics that guarantee maximum light control. Symmetric narrow beam distribution for high intensity spot illumination is combined with different diffused light distribution levels.

Several TIR (total internal reflection) lenses are used to provide optimum light orientation. The optical system allows obtaining concentrating, diffusing or elliptical beams.

The LED versions of DUEDIECI & DUEVENTI are developed to illuminate medium-size surfaces where you want to enhance architectural details and create light beams on the walls. Thanks to RGB technology and DMX control units, you can also create a variety of scenic effects.

A few years ago, in order to help explaining how colours can appear if light sources differ, a system was developed which systematically compared how a light source can change the position of eight pastel colours indicated on a variant of CIE colour space if compared to the same colours lighted by a reference source of the same colour temperature. Should there be no difference in the appearance, the source under consideration is assigned a CRI value equal to 100. From 2000K to 5000K, the reference source is a Black Body (ideal radiator), whereas over 5000K it is a standard daylight type.

A standard incandescent lamp has a CRI value very close to 100. This does not imply it is a perfect light source as for the chromatic rendering. Indeed, it is not. The blue tones of incandescent lamps are extremely weak, such as anybody trying to get blue navy, blue royal and black tones with low levels of incandescent lighting can confirm. However, we should remind that also in the daylight of the northern sky, having a value of 7500K, red tones are weak and therefore this light does not represent the perfect source as for the chromatic rendering. This is true even though the CRI value is 100.

The CRI index is useful to best indicate colours if used considering its limits. Originally, the CRI was developed in order to compare continuous spectrum sources with CRI sources higher than 90 since with lower values it is possible to have two sources with the same CRI but completely different chromatic renderings. At the same time, the colours lit by sources with CRI values differing for at least 5 points can appear almost identical.

Technically speaking, the CRI can be used as a term of comparison only for sources with the same colour temperature. However, we can say that the rule "the higher the better" is valid as a general rule: light sources with high CRI value (80-100) generally tend to better render the chromatic valence of people and objects if compared to light sources with low values.
DUEVENTI is available fitted with LED in various colour temperatures (3000K, 5000K) as well as in a RGB LED version. All the sources used in the series DUEDIECI & DUEVENTI are characterized by a high CRI.
