Termini Station - Rome, Italy

Location: Termini Station, Rome

The lighting makeover of Italy's busiest station is part of the redevelopment project convened by the Municipality of Roma Capitale and RFI - Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, with the aim of improving the accessibility of Termini station in view of the Jubilee 2025.

Up to 800 thousand people gravitate around the station area everyday, coming from all over Italy and the world: it was therefore crucial in terms of safety to review the lighting of the area inside and outside the station.

THUNDER65 is the durable and versatile recessed wall luminaire chosen in its version with a round stainless steel frame to illuminate the steps leading from the tracks to the area dedicated to bars and restaurants. Thanks to its minimalist design with essential lines, THUNDER65 offers precise and functional lighting: in fact, the ulta wide optics allow the stairways to be illuminated, guaranteeing safety and reliability at every step.
